Welcome to our Pickup-Crew Documentation page. We plan to integrate our service via the usuage of our own JSON database and an An API interface. With the end goal of putting Nautical Hobbyists and hitchhikers in touch with boat owners to sail across the seas. Located on this web-page you find our intial Mind Maps, Concecptual Mock-ups, Interviews, Wireframes, and Landing-Page.

We have noticed differents things: Hitchikers like adventure, it's in their blood. They also like meeting new people, sharing their adventure of life and their trips in social media or with people. But do you know what other kind of hobbies can stimulate the taste of adventure and the willing to meet new people? Sailing. The idea is simple: allow people to hitchhike but in boats in exhange of services to the navigators. They could cook, create a video of the boat, particpate to chores... and sails from a point to another, going on a new adventure. For the sailors, it's could be interesting to share the trip when they want to change their potrt vessels or evenr for a short trip.

Target

The target of this project is people relatively young between 25 and 40 years old. Indeed, young peope are more susceptible to have less money so to use the concept of hitchhiking. Moreover the target would be an enthusiastic traveller and discoverer and those persons are able to give quality service. Indeed, in exchange for the travel, travellers must deliver services.

Service offered

Two kind of services are offered: - for the sailors: they can propose to take one or more "sea-tripers" for as long as they want, and ask for services in exchange of the trip they offer. This services could concerns the cooking, helping to do the cores, the housecleaning, etc... - for the "sea-tripers": choosing a trip among all the offers by the sailors and hat they can propose: helping doing the chores, etc... But they also can propose others things such as: to create videos or content for the network of the sailors, to take pictures, to organize party on the boat, etc... An other service will concern the evaluation: each collaborator will be able to evaluate his experience, and recommand the person he met.
